Brunswick Animal Hospital

I could not ask for a better team of doctors and staff. They consistently worked hard to help my dog after a major medical scare. They reached out to me after hours and provided me with everything I needed in order to get him better. We have been going to Brunswick animal Hospital for over 10 years now and my experience has been nothing but outstanding. I wish I could rate them higher than 5 stars. They truly care for all patients and their animals.

I took my cat in today and what a wonderful and friendly clinic. This was our first time going to the vet here and is by far has the best vets, and assistants that my wife an I have taken our pets to. Wonderful warm caring treatment and professional all at the same time. I just can't say enough about our visit and honestly we have been to other vets in the area and none compare to the care we received and reasonably price as well. We have finally found a veterinarian clinic that cares, respects, and is gentle with pets. Awesome job to everyone there!

Such a friendly place! Truly grateful for these kind people for being able to work in my boy on a weekend after I frantically called, first thing in the morning; Perhaps a minor overreaction on my part, he was back to himself almost immediately after they gave him a shot and some medication to settle his stomach! It was SUCH a relief to have him seen so quickly, at prices I already know from experienced were FAR less than I would have paid at an emergency vet(despite the additional $30ish I paid for the initial exam, the cost of which they were up front with over the phone)! This veterinarian also did a much more thorough initial exam than I've gotten from other vets I've been to; it didn't feel like the waste of money other exams at other vets often feel like! This is a vet we would return to if we were locals! Thank you!

Please do yourself a favor and go somewhere else other than Brunswick animal Hospital. My daughter made an appointment at this Brunswick animal Hospital for our dog to have a medical examination. They had an appointment available same day 4 o’clock, even though we didn’t stress that it was urgent so we took the appointment came into the appointment was very disappointed. The veterinarian when listening to her heart had the assistant right beside her holding the dog talking continuously I don’t believe that the veterinarian could properly listen to her heart with the assistant talking continuously because my dog does have a heart murmur. In addition there was nothing else she did asked if I wanted a nail trim for $30 which I would do myself saved $30. I asked her to look at the growth on her stomach by one of her nipples. She said OK we’ll give her antibiotics for that. I’ll start with that. She left the room and when the assistant came back in to give me the antibiotics for the growth on her stomach/nipple I said can you please have her look into her ears cause she’s a Chihuahua and has big ears and tends to have a lot of wax in there so the assistant took her in the back room the vet came back with two Q-tips one empty and one with just a little bit of earwax mixture on a swab and said looks like she has a yeast infection in her ear. fine usually they get a lot more wax out of that. I don’t know how well she swabbed the ear, but it’s fine so nevertheless when we went to pay our bill, they were going over the charges came out to $273.Dollars. They charged us for a working fee at the front desk and when I asked what is this working fee for for $33. They said because we took you in today as the same-day appointment well nobody told me over the phone that there was a working fee for a same-day appointment because we would’ve scheduled it for another day when I questioned the receptionist. This was never brought to our attention on the phone call to my daughter when making the appointment the front desk clerk went and got the manager and the manager(James) said this is a “work in fee” you were told and you have to pay the $33 and I said well we were not told this he argued that the person who told you left for the day which I don’t believe she left because we made the appointment at 3:15pm and came there at 4:00pm. The clerk at the front desk was looking away and seemed very uncomfortable like he was lying and she was the one we talked to. I didn’t want to put her between a rock and a hard spot, so we just paid the bill. I’m sure James (manager) is just trying to meet his quota on up charging for a “work-in fee”, so he gets his bonus check as a manager. This was a recorded conversation and I said well can we hear that and then he smirked and didn’t want to give us a copy of that conversation. I would advise anybody who goes there if you still want to check your bill. This place likes to charge up charges for everything. We will no longer be taking our dog to a place that is dishonest and I shouldn’t have to remind the vet to check my dogs ears when she is charging a medical exam fee of $81.00. Beware of this animal hospital when taking your animal in for an appointment.
