Recently I took my miniature schnauzer to Landings Animal Hospital. I was uncertain as to which vaccinations were current and which ones needed to be updated. I was greeted by Claire, a veterinarian school student, who promptly examined my dog and his record, administered necessary vaccinations, and sent us home confident and with a good understanding about keeping my pet healthy. The vets themselves are 5 stars the best I have ever dealt with however the support staff is awful. They are lazy and don’t have compassion. They don’t tell you when you get a prescription that in order to get a refill written it takes a week. Because I wasn’t told this I waited until my dogs medication ran out. Instead of doing the right thing and getting the doctor to write it and informing me that next time I needed to give them a week they decided to just put it in a stack and hope the doctor would eventually get to it. The time before I had a question about if I should discontinue using one medication when the doctor prescribed a new one they refused to ask the vet and just guessed. This after they had erased my appointment from the system but they had remembered me calling so luckily the vet was able to see my dog.
