My senior dog was experiencing an emergency and my regular vet couldn't see us. They got me right in. Excellent care.

July2026 Our second experience with Mad River was at their newer "PAW Center" which was great being closer to our home. This time we needed to rescue 1 of our cats from my lack of attention to cutting her nails. A few were so long and curved until they were a little ingrown. Doc Nikki took swift care of that. She and the tech were both very attentive to explain everything and answer all questions. I feel like the after-care stuff we bought and are giving her is a tad overboard and pricey (by bedtime the cat was doing amazing and happy to no longer be in pain.) But again, 5 stars because the service is top notch and I feel comfortable that our fur babies can always be well taken care of there. PS Bring your checkbook if you don't like paying a credit card fee. Nov2025 Our first experience with Mad River was really good, the wife and girls took our 2 cats in for a first visit with them since we moved here to OH in late 2024. I thought it was a bit pricey, but all my ladies were raving about the service.

Dr Maynard seems to have lost sight of his mission to provide quality care in favor of building and empire. After 10 years today was my last visit. Hopefully they can accurately and efficiently transfer records

Very pleased with the way they handled my girl Joy. She's prone to have seizures at any discomfort or just uncomfortable situations. Thought I'd have to have her sedated just to get her nails clipped. The girls handled her extremely well and sedation wasn't need. Thank you for taking such good care with her!! I highly recommend Mad River Veterinary!!
