Love this hospital! Dr. W is my vet and is highly responsive when I email her any questions or concerns. She's very thorough in the visits as well! All of the techs I've dealt with were sweet and patient. The front desk ladies are nice and helpful. Haven't had a bad experience!

We recently brought in a stray kitten that we decided to adopt. Having gone through the process with another street cat before, I knew how expensive and difficult it can be. I have also done TNR in the past and I was expecting Porter to be more similar to that since they offer low cost spaying. Porter Pet Hospital completely exceeded my expectations and went above and beyond. I mentioned that our kitten had a cough, and instead of simply proceeding with surgery, the team took chest X-rays at no cost to make sure she was healthy enough. We decided to have the X-rays reviewed by a radiologist, and thanks to an incredibly fast turnaround, we found out she likely has asthma. The radiologist apparently got back in record time so we got really lucky. They spent so much time going over everything with me and did not make me feel rushed which is something I feel you get at vet clinics a lot. They also accommodated us by moving her spay appointment up several days. Our original appointment was scheduled for the day before I started a new job, and because they were able to fit her in earlier, I was able to spend the entire first week of her recovery at home with her. That took so much stress out of the process and meant a lot. She has recovered beautifully, and I’m so grateful for the excellent care she received. I am only disappointed that they are not accepting new patients! Thank you to everyone at Porter Pet Hospital for your kindness, compassion, and for making this entire process as stress-free as possible. It was clear that everyone genuinely cared about our kitten, and we couldn’t have asked for better care.
