Writing this hoping someone involved with hiring here will see it. I have had a few bad experiences with receptionists here, but have not written a review because I love Dr. Shaker and the vet techs. I bring my dog in for a routine gland expression and receptionist is chatting and laughing with who I assume was one of the vets. I stand in front of them and wait, they see me, and continue talking and laughing. After minutes, I sit down in waiting area and just wait. They continue talking, both making eye contact with me, and ignoring me. A man walks in, and they both immediately stop conversation and ask how they can help him. I am a young female, for reference. I still sit silently to see if receptionist will acknowledge me. A second man walks in, and she looks to him, so I speak up and say can I check in with my dog please? So weird and unnecessary. She has made me uncomfortable before. I wish I knew her name. She is older and definitely not one of the friendlier receptionists that work here. Although maybe she just chooses to just be friendly with men! Ha. For the most part this is a lovely vet center, so I feel that whoever does the hiring here is unaware of this issue.

This is the best vet place we’ve found for our cats . All of the staff and even dr Paige are very caring, kind and very knowledgeable on any cat issues that arise . We always refer any of our friends who have cats or dogs to them.
