This vet place i wouldnt recommend unless you would like you animals abused unfortunately this happened right in front of me as the vet hit my dog. I'm sorry she's a stranger to my animal no stranger will hit my animal and definitely not a professional veterinarian! Prices are high as heck to fix my animal here is going to cost $600 or more in other veterinarian places it's half the price and no over night stay. This is no place for an animal to be the staff may be nice but I'll never let a person abuse my animal and way overcharge me and then ask me to keep my animal overnight for a fixing after abusing. They must lost their mind so for anybody else please keep in mind what I have mentioned I've read other reviews and they are not good and what I've mentioned I've seen with my own eyes! As some of the other reviews mentioned how a well visit cost $350. This is very much so the case it's happened to us! They also give medicine and not give a credit or give you the money back when it was not needed or not the right thing for the animal. PLEASE BE AWARE WHEN YOU TAKE YOUR ANIMAL HERE!!!! I ALSO MENTION YEARS AGO I WAS GOING TO THIS VETERINARIAN AND SHE DID SO MUCH BETTER THAN, AND THE PRICES WERE SO MUCH BETTER THAN WHAT THEY ARE NOW THEY'RE CHARGING PEOPLE TRIPLE THE PRICE! I DON'T KNOW IF THEY'RE SICK OR WHAT'S GOING ON BUT I DON'T THINK IT'S THEIR PATIENCE PROBLEM TO PAY FOR THEIR PERSONAL MEDICAL ISSUES!

I do not recommend this place. We were told it would be $200 To spay our cat. We only took her there because it was the only place we could get her in quickly. We dropped her off in the morning as instructed and expected to Pick her up later that evening. We were later told they wanted to keep her overnight for observation. I have no idea if that is normal but I’m not sure anyone was actually there to ‘observe’ her. The next day we went to pick her up and it was over $400. We went home with ZERO instructions other than to give this antibiotic daily. Within minutes of being home the cat was obsessively licking at it, my husband called and they said ‘oh, we forgot to give you a cone. We close in 10 minutes.’ He rushed back to get the cone and was charged for that too. First of all- how do you forget that ??? Second, wouldn’t that be figured into the surgery price? She has a pretty large opening at the bottom of the incision, I mean large (like I seriously had nightmares her intestines were going to Come out). We called and there’s no one there, just a voice recording to call the emergency vet for concerns. I am so mad my husband didn’t just turn around and walk out after seeing what it looked like inside. I do not understand why we were quoted $200 and it was over $400. (Extra because she is in heat) 🙄 I don’t recommend this place to anyone. I’ll be happy if the cat doesn’t get an infection Find a different vet!

Having been our vet for years, we took our lab when we found a lump on his ear. Instead of getting a sample with a needle, she hacked a piece off his ear to"quickly send to get tested" and sent us home with what we later found out was Vaseline and a pain med. Days went by with no word as the ear got worse and started to smell bad. We called and she told us she would call to check on test and she would call back. Two days later we called and she said he had a fast spreading infection and it was probably best to take the ear completely off. I was horrified. We contacted another vet in the area who was appalled at the procedures of Village Vet. They took a small needle, did a test in house and found out it was cancer. When the big chunk was cut from his ear it made it spread like wildfire. The new vet was wonderful and tried to help andmade him comfortable for the next week when our boy was just out of energy and in too much pain and had to be put to sleep. I know cancer would have eventually taken him, but we could have had meds and he could have had alot more time if diagnosed correctly by someone who actually cared.
