Without a doubt the best Vet office I’ve been to. Dr. Kemp is beyond professional, and handles my German Shepherd with absolute care, something my German Shepherd had not had at the numerous other vets we had been. Not only can you tell Dr. Kemp loves what she does, and the animals she cares for, but so do the rest of the staff; especially Chloe. I don’t just recommend this place, I highly advise bringing your pets here if you want people that will genuinely care for them.

To the folks that read these . I’m an animal lover 100 percent! My appointment was on Tuesday the 4-11-25 in the morning. I have a 2 year and 9 month old Full blooded Brittney Spaniel female. We walk roughly 2 miles every morning before we get our day going . She only gets the fresh pet or the farmers dog dog food . Then she gets Blue Buffalo dry dog food .Now her feet started to have small amounts of smell about 6 to one year ago kinda like corn chips that is why I had an appointment. All I need is meds to get this problem either under control or fixed . BTW I do read a lot about dogs cats horses etc . I’m not claiming I know everything haha but I’m not stupid !the younger lady Chloe came and asked me questions about what is going on with my Britt . She is so nice and very professional Pleasant ! So the vet comes in and talked to me about what she needs to do to find out about what’s wrong or going on with my Britt . So the vet leaves the room and Chloe and I was talking I had asked her what’s her thoughts or opinions on what works the best to try I can only afford so much on disability. If I needed to give my Britt surgery I can get the money . So anyway Chloe recommended this $150 shot so I’d agree. The shot is supposed to take the itching away . Good deal !! So I told Chloe let’s do it . Here comes in this tech to give my Britt this shot . This shot is supposed to go just under the skin . It’s not supposed to go deep into her flesh one or two inches. This Hugh guy gives my Britt this shot she is in pain bad and no I’m not exaggerating at all ! She was moving trying to get away because he was hurting her so she is moving around fast with this needle buried in her flesh! So you can only imagine how she felt ! He did not stop and assess the situation he just kept giving her the shot . After he got done hurting her he said I probably hit a nerve or something. What the heck ! So we started walking out and I noticed she was hobbling some . I picked up my Britt and sat her on the seat . I started to pet her she did not want me to touch her at all she laid there all the way home and never moved .! For the rest of the day she did nothing by lay down on her opposite side of where he hurt her !🤬 This shot did nothing at all the itching is still there it’s the same as before! So just be very careful over at this place ! I will never return back again after that visit!! I don’t feel like there professional at all ! And the only thing I got was I’m sorry from the lady in behind the counter. Really??! Your sorry that just don’t sit well with me . Not at all ! They hurt my Britt ! We walked in fine left hobbling! 🤬 and no they did not administer the shot very well at all . My dog was moving with the needle stuck in her as the guy kept pushing the needle in to her anyone that has had a needle stuck in them hurts and really hurts if you move . So my dog was moving while he kept pushing the needle in to her . To me that is not I repeat not professional . And sorry does not cut it !

Dr Grace Kemp is an excellent veterinarian. She has taken care of my tiny miniature dachshund since my Pearl was a baby girl. As Pearl is advancing in years, Dr Kemp always provides detailed information about every treatment option the cost and also what is highly recommended to move forward with the best possible care for my girl. Dr Kemp always listens thoroughly to my concerns, as well as the rest of the staff. They are very professional caring and loving to my little girl. Good works veterinary hospital will always be my choice for my pet care.

Remember this name: Dr. Grace Kemp. If your pet is sick, she and her staff are professional and caring. Our cat, Fluffy, had been fighting numerous issues for months. One trip to Dr. Kemp got a correct diagnosis and treatment. Fluffy is 100% now, thanks to Dr. Kemp and her staff. If your pet needs care , ask for Dr. Kemp at Goodworks. Thanks, Doc!
