All vets are kind of pricey but $200 for an xray on a cat is genuinely wild. I paid over $400 to find out my cat nursing newborns was just extremely constipated. I don't have credit so getting a credit check loan for my cats appointment was not possible. I will say though they did get me in the same day I called when they were extremely busy. I'm very grateful for that. And they called on their own to check and see how my cat was the following day and to make sure she had any bowel movement. They are very kind. Just the prices are outrageous.

Brought my 80 year old Stepmothers dog in for vaccinations on a supposively 30% discount Thursday night clinic. Was still over $400 then was told to bring him back 3 weeks later for a booster and that cost over another $100. Highway robbery. Have no complaints about staff.
