When we got Artemis as a 3-month-old puppy, we noticed some unusual behaviors almost immediately. Dr. Stone didn’t waste any time—he ordered lab work right away, and we soon learned she had a rare kidney disease. On top of that, she developed recurring skin infections every couple of months. Over the last two years, we sent countless emails with pictures and videos at all hours of the day and night. Dr. Stone would often respond within minutes, and we were frequently able to pick up prescriptions the very same day. We were definitely helicopter parents, worried about every little thing, and Dr. Stone always matched that level of concern with genuine compassion and urgency. He also helped us get a referral to OSU, where we were told Artemis had only three months to live. Thanks to the care she received, we were blessed with so much more time than anyone expected. Dr. Stone and his entire team were with us every step of the way. When we had to say goodbye to Artemis yesterday, the compassion and empathy they showed us were beyond anything we could have imagined. It wasn’t just professional—it was deeply personal. We also bring our other dog, who isn’t chronically ill, to this practice. Even during those routine appointments, the staff would ask how Artemis was doing. They know us, they genuinely care about us and our pets, and they always make us feel welcome. If you’re looking for a veterinary team that will treat your pets like family, this is the place. We will forever be grateful to Dr. Stone and everyone on his team for the incredible care they gave Artemis and for the kindness they showed our family.
