Cold Spring Animal Clinic

Dr Martin is a caring Vet, however, her husband Dan is the most uneducated, rude employee at Cold Springs not to mention his herd of cats that run the neighborhood marking their spots on everyone else’s property. Not just one cat but a herd of them

While I have never been to this clinic in person, I can only imagine how great it is based on the people who work there. I recently lost my cat on a road trip from New York to Colorado. He escaped his harness at a gas station in Quaker City, OH. I posted in many FB groups, and one person to respond was an owner of this clinic, Dan. He was invested from the very beginning and I can't thank him enough for everything he did to assist with the search. I was unable to be there because we didn't have a choice but to sadly continue our drive, but my siblings went up the next day to search and Dan drove an hour to meet them and provide traps, headlamps, and flashlights. Not only this, but he sent two of his veterinary assistants, Cassandra and Elizabeth, out to search while still being on the clock. They drove 45 minutes from this clinic to help search. Lastly, after my cat ended up being found via a drone search, my siblings went to Dan's house at probably 3 am to return his gear, and he provided them with snacks and drinks for their long drive home. Not many people would do this for someone they don't know and I am so thankful to Dan, Cassandra, and Elizabeth for all of their efforts! If I lived in this area I would be taking my pets here. Thank you all!!

Our family cat, Catboy was in distress. He was mouth breathing. I called them because they were the closest facility with a name I knew. It was after hours on a night before a holiday. My call was answered. I spoke to a guy named Dan. He had me send him a video of Catboy and recommended seeking the MedVet in New Albany (also highly recommend). Sadly we had to decide to euthanize Catboy. The staff I had reached at Cold Springs was so kind. Offered solid advice. He continued communication through Catboys visit at the “er”. It was like I had a friend on the inside. Knowing there was no “billable service” he still assisted with his great knowledge and compassion.

Dan called me and was insanely rude.I was just trying to explain why I was calling in and instead he tried to belittle me, was combative in his language and frankly outright obnoxious. I would never recommend this place if thats how they treat anyone let alone someone seeking help. Try anywhere else, at least someone else will actually care.
