Dr. Hill took care of my sweet Lola today with so much love. Lola was so sick during the night and needed a vet open on Saturday. They got us in right away with no wait and I couldn't have asked for a better team to nurse her back to health.

I typically do not leave bad reviews when it's something minor, but I realize that this vet offers services for exotic pets and seen there is no comment, at least I don't see a category for it, from anybody who has taken their bird up there. So, my daughter's bird, Winter, got attacked by a cat Monday evening. I made a call to this vet the next day after seeing that cats have some kind of bacteria harmful to birds in their saliva. I will say that the 3 ladies that helped us were nice. That is always a good thing. The vet was performing an emergency surgery, so she only looked at Winter while am assistant moved his wings. No problem. But I told one of ladies his symptoms. He had been sleeping a lot, puffed up, and stayed in the bottom of the cage. Lady said he was probably just really stressed from the incident and being around strangers. Fine. Cool. Then they gave him meloxicam, antiflammatory medicine. I thought it was odd because Google said that they need antibiotics. My foolish self didn't press the issue and trusted them. Well Winter passed away later that night in my daughter's hands. My daughter was/is HEARTBROKEN and DEVASTATED. And I am LIVID and also HURT seeing my baby grieving her pet who we thought was going to be ok. Also later finding out that all the symptoms I told the lady about were ALL signs he was dying!!!! 😭😭😭 Had we gotten the antibiotics that was needed, maybe Winter would have survived, but without it, he had no chance. We trusted what they were saying. My daughter spent her last little bit of money she had trying to save him and for people who specialize in this field, or so they have on their website, didn't really know what they were talking about. I take accountability for not speaking up and feel terribly guilty, but again, Google isn't always reliable. Thought they knew better than little old me. The entire reason we went there was to get the antibiotics, ended up being told a lie, and then Winter died. I am super disappointed and just...deeply saddened.

We are currently working on getting my ole girl Blondi back in order or at least comfortable in her older years. They have been very gentle with her and truly think of everything!

We've been coming here for 5 years with no plans on changing. Our 5 year old dog was showing signs of pre-mature ageing and the vet here helped us work through multiple rounds of testing to find the root cause. Our pup is now acting like he's years younger and we couldn't be happier. Would recommend!!
