I had an emergency with one of my dogs over the weekend, and VEG was incredible. They took care of us immediately and kept us informed every step of the way. They called and texted with updates and reminded us that we could call or visit our dog whenever we wanted. The entire team was compassionate, attentive, and truly went above and beyond to care for my dog. During such a stressful time, they made us feel supported and reassured. I highly recommend VEG to anyone in need of emergency veterinary care.

Took my Doberman for diarrhea and ended up paying close to 2K in test. The Vet told us they had no clue why he had diarrhea and told us to follow up with his regular vet if it didn’t clear up even though he had it 4 days. Not to mention, I was first told my dog was severely dehydrated and then after tests that he wasn’t. Prices are extremely inflated-medicine given was less than 1/2 online and could be purchased online! Do yourself a favor and go someone else!!!

We noticed one of the feral cats we feed had developed a pretty bad wound on his face from another cat, so after a very traumatic fight to catch him, we took him to MedVet. Once they heard he was a stray, the expected wait suddenly went from under an hour to 2 or 3. After 45 minutes of tension we understood this place did not care about our boy, and we got a list of other 24 hour vets. We called VEG en route and they told us there'd be someone ready to receive us immediately. We were so impressed with the open format way they take care of pets, but knew our guy was not accustomed to being inside, so they put us in a private room. He had to be sedated for inspection, and while it was so stressful for us, the staff made it seem so simple and that was a great comfort. The vet said he was the sweetest feral she had ever met, and even though he fought the sedation he never once tried to bite or scratch her. It took a while and multiple doses of meds to knock him out, and the vet literally carried him around in her arms like a baby wrapped in a towel while she did her rounds. After the level of "care" at MedVet, we were so grateful to VEG. He was surrounded by helpful hands while the doctor lanced and drained the abscess on his face, and I loved that we could be right there next to him for his procedure. I have no doubts that this was the best possible outcome and experience we could have had, and if I ever have another animal emergency there is no question that this is the place I will return to.

The staff there was quite amazing. Unique concept of an open ER where you get to go back with your pet and be there for any examinations and procedures. Very honest, never felt pressured and they did not rack up a huge bill for anything unnecessary that couldn't be handled the following morning by our Primary Care Veterinarian. That's different from my experiences over the years at their main competitor of which most of us already know visits to that establishment go. They gave her the minimum amount of care to ensure she was safe to go home to see our normal vet first thing in the morning. Nicely done
