My wife and I, along with Martha and Vinnie, I've lived in the area for less than a year. When we moved in, our dogs were a few months from their annual checkups. Vinnie is a cuddle bug who loves nothing more than being next to his people. Martha is the polar opposite. She is high energy and all Labrador. My wife took Vinnie to his appointment in April. The staff at Pondview was nothing short of fantastic. They took such good care of him entreated him like one of their own. A few days ago I took Martha to her annual checkup. At our last vet in Connecticut, the staff had a hard time getting a blood draw done on her. Martha isn't exactly thrilled with people touching her paws or her arms. Before this appointment we made Pondview's staff aware of this and they made a note in her chart. Again, the staff was nothing short of amazing. I didn't get anybody's name and for that I'm a little disappointed in myself. The tech came in and made friends with Martha. Just like any other good healthcare provider, she read up on the patient prior to the appointment. She knew that Martha was a bit of a challenge and the she's a sucker for cheese whiz. Cheese whiz wasn't an option but the peanut butter flowed excessively. She even got down on the floor and played with Martha before attempting an exam. Together we made a plan for the blood draw. The tech brought a friend to help while I held a clipboard schmeared with peanut butter. Everyone came in for the blood draw. The muscle...I mean male tech... Came in, took Martha by her leash, and spent a few minutes getting to know her by petrering behind her ears. He was the recipient of lots of dogs slobber and tail wags. We put her up on the table, he held her leash and petted her while I presented clipboard for Martha's inspection. The female tech, again I apologize for not getting her name, was done with a blood draw within a few seconds. Martha looked over a little bit while the needle went in, but we all reacted appropriately and Martha got her blood draw. A short time later the vet came in. She also got down on the floor and played with Martha before and during the exam. I cannot overemphasize how impressed I've been with Pondview. They have treated both of our dogs just like we would. Thank you so much to all of you.

Wonderful vet! Our dog ended up catching parvo and at first we went to an over night vet because our boy was dying. In the morning my husband found this vet and took our pup to this vet. They treated him well, they made sure our dog lived through it. They kept us updated and he stayed at the vet for a handful of nights. Not even a grand for the amount of time he stayed! That helped us out a lot and now we have our boy back home and he's still improving thanks to this vet clinic. Thank you to all of you that took such good care of our pup!

The entire staff at Pondview is nothing short of amazing! They are all there to truly help your pet. Dr. Rachel is our vet. We absolutely adore her. She was there for us when we had to make the difficult decision to put our dog down when they found cancer over taking her entire abdomen and had a ruptured bowel. She helped manage our 13 year old dog have her CHF managed and we were able to get 11 more months with her due to a great combination of meds. The receptionists are all lovely too, very friendly and willing to help.
